Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information 4sta.co.uk collects, why, and what your rights are. 4STA is a trading name used by a sole trader based in the UK. I’m responsible for your data (the “controller”), and you can reach me at hello@4sta.co.uk.
What I collect
If you use the contact form or email me: your name, email address, company name and whatever you choose to tell me in your message. If you book a call: your name, email address and anything you add when booking.
If you accept analytics cookies: usage information such as which pages are visited, roughly which country or city visitors are in, the device and browser used, and how people arrived at the site.
I don’t collect anything else through this site, and I don’t ask for sensitive information here.
Why I use it
To reply to your enquiry or hold the call you’ve booked and, if you want to, talk about working together. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me.
To understand how the site is used and improve it. This only happens if you consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
I don’t sell your data, add you to mailing lists, or use it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics, but only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, to tell visits apart. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no Google Analytics data is collected. The site host, Framer, also counts page views without cookies or anything that identifies you.
Your choice is saved in your browser (not in a cookie) so the banner doesn’t keep reappearing. To change your mind at any time, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. There are no advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.
Who else handles your data
A small number of service providers process data on my behalf: the company that hosts this website and its contact form, Cal.com for booking calls (the calendar on the contact page is loaded from Cal.com and may set the cookies it needs to work), Google for analytics (only with your consent), and my email provider. Some of them may process data outside the UK. Where they do, it’s protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries: if we don’t go on to work together, I delete your message and contact details within 12 months.
Analytics: kept in line with my Google Analytics settings, for no more than 14 months.
If you become a client, your information is handled under our engagement letter, which includes its own data protection terms.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how I use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time. Email hello@4sta.co.uk and I’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. I’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top.
